Tom´s central-american adventure

Hello again!

This week we started spanish classes, from 1pm to 5 pm.
The class consists of four norwegians and one teacher.
It's abit easy sometimes and abit difficult other times, but we get homework everyday and are axpected to learn as much as possible talking to our homestay families.
So far im enjoying it very much

This morning we all got up early and went jogging at a local fotball pitch.
It was pretty tuff! but fun to fill in the morning with something insted of walking around the house doing nothing before class.
After the jogg i had my first hot shower since i arrived in Costa Rica!
As you all know i love hot showers, so this was a real treat

Yesterday we took the local bus to a mall.
Are main goal was to eat some food and then go see a movie, but we just ended up staying at the restaurant and walking around the mall window shopping.
The prices are so low its not even funny!
370 kroners for 4 main dishes, 3 beers, a bottle of red wine ( wine is not common in Costa Rica and is seen as a luxury) and three desserts

I feel i made a great mistake not bringing my ipod!
Doing homework or just trying to get to sleep is very hard, but im gradually getting use to it.
I think it would be good to bring on the bus on long journeys, but the big picture is that its not a good idea to flash expensive gadgets

Well, class starts at 1 and lunch is at 12 so i better head off before the food gets cold!
